Thank you for sharing about a difficult time in your life.  One of our next door neighbors (when I was in college) was on welfare after the wife had cancer and the husband had a stroke.  They had a daughter in elementary school.  They were not lazy people partying it up.  They were in the midst of a crisis.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Don't get me started.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Really, I get a huge kick out of the name of your blog!!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I'm glad you're safe and warm and educated now.  There are plenty of people besides me who are glad to help others.
